Your morning sets the tone for everything that follows. Instead of overwhelming yourself with an ambitious to-do list, focus on securing one small win before 9 AM.
This could be making your bed, doing sixty push-ups, as I do, reading 10 pages in a book, taking a 10-minute walk around the block, or sending that email you’ve been putting off. The specific action matters less than the momentum it creates.
When you accomplish something meaningful early, you carry that energy forward. You prove to yourself that today is different. You build the foundation for bigger victories.
Tomorrow morning, pick one thing. Make it small enough that you can’t fail. Make it specific enough that you’ll know when it’s done. Then do it.
Your future self will thank you.
